'Poker Face' Premiers on Peacock
An ode to the classic crime-of-the-week formula of 'Columbo' and 'Murder, She Wrote'
Natasha Lyonne, best known these days for her Netflix show Russian Doll, is the star of a new crime-of-the-week show, Poker Face. In an age where television is mostly about serialized storytelling, it’s unusual and nostalgic that a show like this would exist. I imagine it has much to do with the person responsible for putting it together, director Rian Johnson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Knives Out).
I reviewed Poker Face for RogerEbert.com and I’ve included a link to that review below:

I know what you’re thinking, another streaming service to sign up for! Well, I’m going to share some other shows on Peacock that would be worth watching if you subscribe to watch Poker Face.
Saturday Night Live
The Office
Parks and Rec
Columbo
Girls5Eva
30 Rock
We Are Lady Parts
Murder, She Wrote
There is quite a bit there, but if you only want to watch Poker Face, you might be better off waiting until the end of February to subscribe. That way you can watch the entire first season of Poker Face in one month.
